Masky x Male!reader x Hoodie Ch.2 : So It Begins

     You woke up early that morning, you packed a small bag with some clothes and a few things you have gotten over the years and set out into the woods.  You told your family you were going on a one person camping trip, and they just told you to take the satellite phone.  You went out into the woods, deeper than you normally would have gone, but you still knew the area.  You were looking for Hoodie and Masky, yeah it was stupid but you knew that you could do it.  If you didn't find them by nightfall, sleep in a tree then go back home in the morning.  That was your plan, and you...hoped...it would work. 
     As you walked you started hearing strange noises, you kept looking behind you to make sure nothing was following you.  and there never was. 'it's your imagination' you thought to yourself.  You had thought about turning around before hand but you decided to stick with it.  You kept going deeper and deeper into the woods, trying to find a place you didn't know.  As you kept going, your wish was granted, the normally thick brush with small trees and tons of vines, started giving way to old evergreens and flat land inbetween them.  You stopped dead in your tracks and turned around wanting to leave but from where you walked there was a fence...there was no fence when you were walking.
     You turned back to the evergreens and walked forward bringing out your flashlight and clicking it on. you then looked straight forward and saw a page...always watches...no eyes.


     You were running making sure to not turn around, or to purposefully turn around to make sure he didn't get infront of you, you had 7...7 pages.  You knew that the last page had to be outside the building he had you trapped in.  Everytime you would get near an exit you would hear the static and knew he was right outside, so you could not get out.  What would most people have done, hyperventilate in a corner or be g to be let go, even just stand there in fear.  You kept moving not staying in the same place for more than a few seconds.
     You knew that one of you had to make a mistake and it sure as hell was not going to be you.  You saw the exit again, but this time, he was behind you.  So you ran forward and escaped the building, you then ran away from there to the place where you knew the note would be...the way out.  It was a big fence gate, and on it was a page that you could only see when you got close enough, it said 'no escape' then the static started again.

"...Fuck it"
     You turned towards the slender being and ran right by him, going ever deeper into the evergreens, where no sane person would ever go.  You would not be some missing persons case because you gave up, because you were scared, so you decided to go down doing what you did best. Vanishing.

     Slender's P.O.V

     This human is one of very few to have outsmarted me, he was able to tell where I was from the static and avoid me, as most tried, and he was able to leave the building I was hoping to kill him in.  He ran towards the gate and I couldn't help but be amused, the gate was locked and could not be opened.  I stood behind him as he read the note, and he shocked me, he turned and ran by me.  Most humans would have given up by that point.
     I decided to follow him, and what surprised me next was that I could not see the human anymore, I could sense he was there but I could not tell where.  I waited for him to make a mistake, no matter what human it is they always make a mistake.  I waited for what seemed to be hours, waiting for a breath that was too loud, a noise of fear, or even a small shake of the grass, but it did not come.  After three hours of him not making a mistake I decided to become active and search for the human.  There were not many places to hide in these woods after all.

     Your P.O.V

     You couldn't believe it, he was right under you, yes you climbed a tree, how you did it so fast not even you know.  After about three hours of him just standing there he moved, he was searching.  He walked around the area and you came up with an idea. As he circled the area he came directly under you...and you jumped.
     Your feet came down one on each shoulder and you could feel him crumple a bit, you then landed on the ground and ran as fast as you could to the fence and began to climb the chain link.  You were almost over the top when you felt someone grab your leg and pull you back onto the ground. there were three of them, one held down your legs, one held down your arms and the third one held his hatchet to your neck to make sure you didn't struggle much.  You held still, and then you heard static, you turned your head slightly and could see Slenderman facing you.  You decided to try something.  You started laughing, hysterically.
     Your laughter rang through the forest, and after a few seconds, it became genuine.  The three proxies let you go, scared slightly, and you sat up clutching your stomach as your laughter subsided and you wiped an eye.  You looked at the four standing a small bit away from you and smiled at them. "my name is y/n, I have lived near a forest my entire life, I am able to 'disappear' in an instant and I am not normal" You stated as you were getting up. "I would like to go home now, if you don't mind." you said with a smile


     You walked out of the woods around noon the day after you left.  You walked inside of your house which was quiet for once, and walked into your room.  You grabbed a paper and pen and wrote a note, faking a story of finding love and eloping or something crazy like that so your parents wouldn't look for you.  You then emptied the bag you had with you, and packed it more organized.  You decided to bring your f/c turtleneck and some dark blue jeans with your f/c converse and your black combat boots, along with other clothes.  You took the katana your grandpa gave to you and walked out the door leaving the note on the inside of it.
     Hoodie and Masky were waiting for you.  You nodded when you got to them and started walking behind them.
